The Gastronome Hall has a wide selection of fresh and quality food products painstakingly acquired from all over the world. Here you can always get fresh fish and seafood products as well as meat delicacies, more than 150 different types of cheese, fine wines, real Italian pasta and sauces, ecologically clean vegetables and milk products, numerous hors d’oeuvres, ready-made dishes and desserts.
Shopping is done in the same way as at a market; there’s no self-service. Instead, there are shop-assistants at the counters to assist customers. They are ready to provide information on the products, arrange tastings, give recommendations and pass on a good recipe.
Practically none of the products at the Gastronome Hall are in factory packaging. Our intention is for the customers to be able to try everything on the spot. For this purpose there are numerous bar counters, and a café and a restaurant nearby. So if you want to try a particular type of cheese, you can go into the restaurant where it will be served with the appropriate bread and wine. Before buying oysters, you can try them in the bar. And our cook will always be pleased to prepare a piece of fresh fish or meat that you have chosen. |
